Global Escapology Organisation is an elite group of Escapologists and subject experts from around the world that are driven by a single goal: to do one's part in the promotion of Escapology while protecting its historical traditions and proprietary knowledge within the membership.We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.

To respect the copyright, intellectual property rights and ownership of escapology related acts, works and equipment by not disclosing, manufacturing, or emulating the above.

To oppose the wilful exposure to the public of any principles of the Art of Escapology or the methods employed in any Escapology effect or associated illusion.

To disclose to G.E.O, and discourage fellow Members from using or obtaining, services or items that are in breach of clauses 1 and 2
​
To conduct themselves in public or online / social media in such a way as not to bring the G.E.O or Escapology into disrepute.

To display such behaviour and conduct as Escapologists in the presentation of the art to the public including non-interference with or jeopardising the performance of another escape artist or performer either through personal intervention or the unauthorised use of another’s creation, so as not to place a member of the public or crew in danger or distress or act in such a way as to cause complaints to be made.

To disclose to the G.E.O, and discourage fellow members, from undertaking dangerous and unsafe escapes.
​
To obtain and maintain all relevant insurances for their work and obey all Health and Safety, Product Safety and Public Safety regulations when planning and conducting a performance, or, developing and manufacturing a product for sale. This includes the timely creation of risk assessment forms, accurate and realistic mitigation of risks and cooperation with other members in finding solutions to problems.

To show respect to fellow members and the acts or work they produce. Criticism is allowed but not when it results in a hostile environment.

To not knowingly act in such a way as to result in a fellow member being financially or professionally disadvantaged.
​
To not use false statements in advertising for either performance or product related to the art.
​
To respect and follow collective responsibility regarding decisions reached by the group.
​
To respect the confidential nature of G.E.O meetings (face to face and virtually) and not disclose or reproduce any data, information or media that is presented or disclosed during meetings without the consent of the G.E.O

To promote the art form wherever possible in a positive and inclusive manner.
